The Golden Rule
Be civil, use common sense & follow the spirit of the rules.
These rules are not an exhaustive list. Actions intended to bypass the actual intent of the rules, or behaviour that is clearly malicious or disruptive to our safe and welcoming environment, will be handled at staff discretion.
Chat & Community
- Treat everyone with respect.
Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, swearing & derogatory language have no place here. - Keep it family-friendly.
Ensure all content, discussions, and builds are "safe for work" and appropriate for a general audience. - No advertising or spam.
Keep the chat free from promotion, whether it's for a community, social media, or any other products or services. This includes unsolicited direct messages. - Public chat etiquette:
Keep public chats in English so everyone can participate, and avoid excessive caps, symbols, or formatting that clutters the conversation.
Minecraft Gameplay
General
- Play fair.
Cheating, exploiting bugs, and using hacks are strictly prohibited. - Play the game yourself.
Macros, auto-clickers, or any form of keystroke-automation to bypass the idle timeout, or stay active at farms is prohibited. - Honour agreements.
Scams and fraud are not allowed. Whether it's a trade, a build project or a PvP duel, you are expected to follow through. - Respect server performance.
You are responsible for the lag your builds create. Keep entity counts (animals, monsters, etc.) reasonable, and ensure all mob farms and redstone circuits can be fully switched off when not in use.
Wilderness, Claims & Safe Zones
- Wilderness is wild.
Unclaimed land is not protected and may be looted. PvP is explicitly allowed and to be expected. - Safe zones:
The Spawn and the arrival point in The End are safe zones, to be treated like claims. - Respect claims.
No griefing, stealing, or unauthorised PvP inside claims. Do not use disruptive abilities on other players. - Follow house rules.
Claim owners have the final say over their territory. This includes the right to set their own additional house rules for guests that you are expected to follow. - Be a good neighbour.
Build at a respectful distance from others. Always ask before expanding your claim in their direction. Expansion conflicts are settled on a "first come, first served" basis. - Leave when asked.
If a claim owner or trusted member asks you to leave, you must exit immediately and peacefully. Ask when or if you are allowed to return.
PvP Combat
- Location matters:
Safe zones are strictly non-PvP. Inside claims, PvP is strictly opt-in and requires consent from all participants. Don't try to circumvent protection from PvP. - Loot & conditions:
By default, the winner keeps all loot. However, for planned fights, players can set their own conditions for gear or ability restrictions, item returns, etc. - Fair ambushes vs. teleporting:
Planned ambushes and unexpected surprise attacks are fair game. However, do not use any kind of teleports to jump other players. Likewise, do not wait at common arrival points (like /homes, waystones, or portals) or claim & safe zone borders to kill players as they appear. - Fair vs. malicious traps:
Traps built into the wilderness and luring players into them are fair game. However, traps designed to continuously "soft-lock" a player (e.g. obsidian bed traps or blocked portals) are prohibited.
Reporting & Punishments
We want this server to be a safe, welcoming space. If you see someone breaking the rules or making the community unsafe, please message staff immediately.
Rule violations may result in deleted messages, warnings, mutes, or bans based on the severity of the offence.
- The warning system:
Three warnings will result in a 30-day ban. A second ban will be permanent. - Zero tolerance for cheating:
Hacking, cheating, or intentionally exploiting bugs skips the warning track and results in an immediate 30-day ban and a permanent warning. - Ban evasion:
Attempting to bypass a ban using alternate accounts or VPNs will result in a permanent ban across all associated accounts.
